I wanted to post an updated version of this blog post from a while back!
One way that I have grown is knowing, and really comprehending the fact, that I am never, EVER alone. Of course, I knew this before in my head but sometimes be heart doubted it, but a quote from A Course In Miracles really put this in perspective for me:
To me, it became crystal clear when I was really worrying about something going on in my life. I had become almost frantic. I was consumed with thoughts about how “I” could change my situation, or how “I” could fix it. Then, I decided to watch Gabby Bernstein. Now, it’s no secret that I have parted ways with Gabby and her community. However, her teachings have really elevated me and helped me to be able to choose love over fear, however I am human and we all can sink back into that fear state at any given moment. So I turned on Gabby and heard her say a quote from the text A Course In Miracles: “If you knew Who walks beside you on this path which you have chosen, fear would be impossible.” . I remember thinking, ‘damn, this is good!’. So, in that moment, I decided that I would do my best to give up the constant fear that I was experiencing. That’s when things started to change.
I began to open up my heart and life even more to those beings of Love and Light that were just waiting for me to give the “okay”. Something important that you should know is that you can have every Angel on Earth and in Heaven on your side, but if you don’t let them help you then they can’t. Every being has to respect your freewill choices, so make the choice to let them in and let’s get to it!
I FIRMLY believe we have a wonderful team of Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters (Gods and Goddesses, and other Enlightened Beings), Dragons, and more that are with us every single day. In fact, I know it to be so. The purpose of this post is to give you a bit of guidance into how these beings can help you in your every day life! Let’s get started!
DRAGONS:
Dragons are fourth (and higher) dimensional beings that are tasked with clearing away and consuming a lot of the denser energies, whereas Angels do not necessarily do that. They help us raise our vibration to rise above those energies. However, sometimes we need to help of Dragons when that denser and lower energy is all around us. Dragons are the way makers, the clearers, and the transmutat-ers, that help us keep our energy clear and high vibrational. Dragons are elementals, like Unicorns and Fairies, and therefore have a very grounding impact on you even though they fly high in the sky! There are hundreds of different types of Dragons but the main 4 that will be working with are Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Now, most of the time your personal Dragon will correspond with the Element of your Zodiac Sign, so Cancer will have a Water Dragon, Leo will have a Fire Dragon, and so on. Dragons also have a real ability to get stagnant energy moving again and help you to get ‘unstuck’, if you are feeling that way. Now, I want to give you specialties of the 4 Dragons I mentioned earlier.
Fire Dragons: Burning away lower energies and protecting you from them
Earth Dragons: Keeping you grounded, prosperity, and growth
Water Dragons: Emotional Well-being and Psychic Abilities
Air Dragons: Soaring above earthly matters and seeing from a different perspective.

Now, I had never really heard about Dragon energy until I had signed up for an Online Course with the AMAZING Diana Cooper called, “Meet Your Dragons”. Now, this idea intrigued me but I wasn’t completely sold. But, I was doing the course, watching the videos and doing the meditations, and I began to really sense there was something more to it! So, I decided to meet my Dragon (and earth Dragon named Rory) and began cultivating that relationship by asking for his help, along with Air, Water, Fire, and Violet Flame, Dragons. I began to notice how much more protected I felt, and how I could honestly sense a change in my demeanor when I asked for their help.

Then, something even more amazing happened: The Dragon Oracle Cards by Diana Cooper were released and my relationship with the Dragons drastically changed for the better. ANGELS AND ARCHANGELS:
Now, if you know me then you know I adore Angels. I love them to the moon and back and work with them daily. Angels are messengers of God (Universe, Source, whatever) and are tasked with helping us throughout our lives. This particular section is going to focus on Archangels more than Angels, as they are the overseers of the Angels. Each of us has at least 2 Guardian Angels, plus regular Angels, that surround us at all times. However, Archangels have specific specialties that we are going to touch on. Since there are 15 main Archangels, I am going to go over 4 Main ones for times sake:
Gabriel: Messengers, help in parenting, communication
Michael; Protection, Life Purpose, Clearing Energy
Ariel: Manifesting, Animal well-being, Nature
Uriel: Epiphanies, Inspiration, and Manifesting

I’ve been working with Angels for years now, and the impact on my life has been amazing. Sometimes, we feel a disconnect from a Higher Power and that keeps us from asking for help. Angels have a lower vibration that God, so they are more easily reached to be able to help us in times of need, meeting us halfway to listen to our needs. Now, my view of Gods and Goddesses is this: The Divine is pure light. That’s all it is, Light and Love. That light shines through a Diamond that has many different faces and what we perceive to be separate deities are actually all coming from the same light, we just see different faces of that Diamond. I also feel that it helps us to be able to connect easier with the Ascended Master’s because the idea of a deity is easier to comprehend sometimes that speaking directly to “Light”. So when I ask Ganesha for help, I am truly asking a personification of the The Divine to help me. Now, that being said, I believe that each personification requires the utmost respect and devotion, because they are still to be revered. Like the previous sections, I am going to outline 4 Ascended Masters that I love to work with:

Kuan Yin: Buddhist Goddess of Divine Compassion and Love

Mother Mary: Mother of Jesus, Master of Divine Love and Peace, Forgiveness, and Motherhood.

Help me to know and feel that you are with me and please show me the most high vibrational way in dealing with (issue). I thank you for your assistance and So It Is.

Connecting with Angels
Whether you are a seasoned pro at Angels like Doreen Virtue, or a complete and total novice having only heard of Angels in Church or not at all, we can all benefit from knowing how to connect with Angels in all of the many different ways that are available to us! That’s what this post is all about!
So, let’s lay some groundwork, Angels are basically messengers of God. They are extensions of Divine Energy, Light, and Love. So there is nothing to be afraid of in asking for their help. Don’t pay attention to the crazy people who claim that Angels belong to a certain belief system either, that is just B.S. Angels are nondenominational and you do NOT have to be a perfect little boy or girl for them to help you. So know that no matter who you are, or what you have done, they are ALWAYS willing to help you!
While there are literally zillions of ways to connect that are unique to each person, I am going to cover only a few.
Asking for Help
The first of these seems really easy (because it is) because it is simply ASKING! That’s right. Asking. By just asking for help, you open yourself for a multitude of heavenly hosts to sweep in and lift out of trouble. Of course, we have to know that an Angels isn’t going to come down in all of its heavenly glory and help you get out of a speeding ticket, that isn’t what they are for. Now, don’t get me wrong in saying that they WON’T help with that, they can, if you were maybe distracted or having a bad day, but not if you were intentionally speeding, as that could hurt someone else potentially. Angels aren’t that ‘Get out of Jail Free Card’ that is at your disposal day and night. They are beings that truly care for you, want to help you, and want to see you succeed and have a beautiful life!
This brings me to Free Will. The Angels can only help us if we ask, unless it is a case for Divine Intervention and they need to step in to save your life or something like that. If you are looking for a new job and are wondering why the Angels aren’t helping you, stop and ask yourself if you actually ASKED them for help. If you did, then don’t take the silence personally, they are just working for you bringing you what you desire in the right time table for Heaven. If you didn’t, then go ahead and get on that! It’s amazing that sometimes just asking for help seems like too much, like we don’t have time for it and then we wonder why things go to hell in a hand basket. Angels are standing around you at all times, Angels that are ASSIGNED to YOU and ONLY YOU, and they want to be put to work! Don’t ever think that you are asking too much of your Angels, they were made to help you!
Clairvoyance
This means that you ‘see’ the Angels clearly and that you ‘see’ the messages that they have for you. This happens in your mind’s eye, like a movie in your head. This can be a tad overwhelming for a lot of people when it first happens because you don’t know what to expect and you are worried that you are going to see something negative. i can assure you that, if you ask for protection, you won’t see anything scary. So, without getting way too deep for a ‘101’ post, You can just ask your Angels to help you be able to see them and then pay attention to what you ‘see’ when you look at other people or even when you ‘zone out’. You may start out seeing colors, and that is GREAT! This particular way to connect with your Angels is wonderful and is truly a gift! To cultivate this gift, meditate and ask your Angels to clear any residual (gross and sticky) energy from your Third Eye Chakra, located between your eyebrows. When this energy is out of whack you will notice that you have a hard time ‘seeing’ clearly. Like it’s not focused enough. For me, when I was scared of Clairvoyance, I saw lower and negative energies that were manifestations of my fear. I got rid of the fear, and haven’t seen them since! So don’t be afraid! Especially those of you who were brought up to believe that it is evil…let that belief go, breathe, and be happy! Happy ‘Seeing’!
Claircognizance
This is when you have a very clear thought that is sent from Heaven and your Angels. This is another amazing way that the Angels will connect with you. If you are having a hard time with a project, or a job, person, or even a pet, you can ask the Angels for ideas and then be open to what you receive from them! This also works when we pray for guidance. Our prayers are often answered in the form of ideas and thoughts. So we have to make sure that we are always on our toes to receive those answers! These answers come from your Crown Chakra located at the top of your noggin. When this is balanced and in line, you are in constant communication with the Divine and you let it guide your words thoughts and actions in every way. When this particular chakra is out of whack, you are going have those negative, degrading, sad, and useless thoughts that aren’t self serving but rather are detrimental to your spirit. Like Clairvoyance, cultivating this gift can be done through meditation. Asking the Angels, once again, to remove residual energies from that Crown Chakra. There is so much to be said for Claircognizance and it’s ability to deepen your relationship with the Angels is truly profound. I feel that this gift is often glossed over when it is one of the most crucial ways of connecting with Angels, Guides, and the Divine itself!
Clairaudience
I love this one. It is my primary sense when I connect with Angels, Departed loved ones, and other energies. This is when you hear clearly, the guidance from your Angels. This one actually took me aback when it happened the first time because I was so caught up in wanting to ‘see’ them that I didn’t much think about ‘hearing’ them! I have to say, it is amazing when you get messages this way. And all you have to do is ask your Angels to whisper to you what they want you to know. This is an particularly interesting gift because once you open yourself up to it, the Angels can be little chatter-boxes! They are always telling you what you need to do, giving you advice, and sometimes just saying ‘Hi!’. Be careful that you when you ask to connect with your Angels through Clairaudience that you are protecting your energy as well. Your Ego loves to trip you up when you begin to open yourself up to guidance from your Angels. They will never say anything negative, degrading, or hurtful to you or about you. If this happens then immediately ask that your energy, and the energy around you, be cleared.
Clairsentience
This is the last of the “Clairs” . This is all about FEELING! When I conduct Mediumship readings and a Spirit is proud of the Client, they make me feel proud and happy! This a beautiful gift because it can literally give you hope and peace. If you are stressed out, just ask your Angels for feelings of peace and happiness. They WILL come through for you! Pay attention to everything you feel (if you are a Cancer, this is easy haha) once you ask for guidance and just let it flow through you! It’s just that simple!
Tarot/Oracle Cards
One more way to connect with Angels is the one I use every single day. Tarot and Oracle Cards, Angel oriented or not, are a wonderful way to get guidance! The greatest this about this method is that it can ‘trigger’ any one, or ALL, of the gifts mentioned above! Every single person on earth has the gifts that I have talked about, it just takes practicing them! Tarot and Oracle cards have such an amazing source of inspiration for myself and millions of people. The Angels can use these as well if you let them! Sit quietly, get rid of distractions, breathe and center yourself, ask your Angels a question, shuffle the deck until you feel the need to stop, and draw a card! It is that simple! If you are interested in this method but don’t have any decks of your own, I HIGHLY suggest the Archangel Power Tarot Cards and The Archangel Oracle Cards, both by Doreen Virtue. They are AMAZING at helping you connect with your Angels!

My Interview with Vicky Maxwell!!
So it's safe to say that I absolutely adore Vicky and her work at New Age Hipster! I was so happy to be able to interview her! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did!
When did you start working with Angels and how did your interest get 'peaked' in the topic?
A couple of years ago I was putting in a crystal order online and for no apparent reason whatsoever I found myself clicking the buy button on a pack of Angel cards. I actually can't even remember what was going through my mind as I did it! The cards came and I was hooked. I had them for a week and had started getting really into the energy, it was so easy to connect with! I started asking the Angels for signs and I remember finding a white feather on the couch! :O There's just no way it could have gotten there by itself. I was totally hooked from that moment on!
What Angel do you work with most often?
Archangel Michael. He's always with me. I'm pretty sure he's actually one of my guardian angels too since he never leaves my side! Archangel Raphael is around a lot too. He's super cute.
What is your process of 'tuning in' to your intution and/or the Angels?
It really depends what I'm doing. Sometimes I just whisper to myself - "Angels what do you most need me to know?" Other times I'll do a big hoo-hah with candles, visualisations, calling all the Angels in. I really think it's super important to do what works for you and what feels right. I'm always discovering new ways of tuning in! I will say that crystals definitely help me though, especially selenite!
What is the most powerful experience you have had with an Angel/God/ Goddess/Spirit?
When I first started working with Angels Archangel Raphael came to me when I was sick. It was just a head cold, but I was acting like it was man flu (I'm not very good at being sick!). I called him in and was talking to him like I was on my death bed. I felt this burst of air across my body and he just started talking to me! We had this amazing conversation about why it was part of the human experience to have a cold sometimes. He was hilarious, such a great sense of humour. We just got along so well. I also had this cool experience when I woke up one night and I know I wasn't meant to and I saw this amazing green light over my body! :O
You are currently running your business full-time, and that is AMAZING! What suggestions or tips do you have for those who are wanting to take that leap?
That it's really hard work. I had this vision of myself in fluffy slippers watching infomercials and taking the odd call, but that couldn't be further from the truth! I worked my butt off starting my biz as a side gig for ages. I worked nights and weekends while I worked full time in a really stressful job. I did 100 free readings for strangers (I'd been reading for friends for years) before I started selling my services. Running a spiritual biz isn't just about doing readings, you have to learn the business side of things too, which isn't always easy! Marketing, software, systems, finances, sales, taxes. But if you're willing to put in the time, energy and love it can be the best thing you ever do!
What hurdles did you have to get through when it came to reading for others?
The biggest thing I struggled with was confidence. My friends had been telling me for years they loved my readings, but I always thought they were just saying that because they had to! Doing 100 readings for people I didn't know really helped me with that, and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't that confident in their ability yet, or at least do readings for donations or pretty cheap. At the end I had 98% accuracy and learned two really important lessons from the 2% and I thought that was pretty good so I started my biz!
What is your process for creating spreads?
I read intuitively so I don't always use a spread in my readings, I usually just shuffle and see in my mind's eye where the cards are going to go and what they mean. Sometimes I'll hear a number like 7 in my head and then I'll put down 7 cards and they will tell me the positions and what they mean. If I'm reading for myself I'll write it down quickly and I then test it with a few different spreads, make some alterations if needed and that's that!
What is the most used deck in your collection?
My most used Angel deck is probably Daily Messages from your Angels (my first deck!) or the Archangel Oracle cards, both by Doreen Virtue! My most used Tarot deck is the Rider Waite Smith.
What advice to do you have for those who want to work with Angels who haven't before?
It's super easy. Close your eyes right now and just say - hey angels, wanna hang out? Grab yourself a deck of cards and don't look back!

Be True to You!
Hello Everyone!!
I am feeling very 'bloggy' today, and wanted to just share some guidance with you all, and myself! I drew two cards today, one from the Angel Reading Cards and one from the Lumina Tarot (because I am currently obsessed with it and do everything with it because we are bestest friends haha). Our cards are "Angel of Truth" and "Six of Wands". The Angel of Truth card is a great card to me because it speaks of everyones truth being different. My truth differs from yours, even if only slightly. And yours, from mine.
We can't ask others to shape themselves to fit our truth, and they can't ask us to do the same. Only when we live our truth out loud, can we experience that victorious mindset that the Six of Wands brings! We can't keep going on trying to fit societies definition of 'truth', that honestly does't even exist outside of our own mind. We make our own boxes that we try to cram ourselves into, making ourselves miserable as fuck in the process. And for what? So people that we don't even know that don't care about us at all can approve of us? What kind of life is that? I will answer that, it's a shitty one.
This may be a bit harsh, but we are all at that point where the energy is here to work with, we just need to rid ourselves of the B.S. to fully embrace it. I said this in my Newsletter, 2016 is a '9' year. This means that it is time to FLY! 2015 was practice, getting you ready for the 'big game'. You have to show up and show out this year, and you can do that by living in your truth, and ONLY your truth. That will bring you untold amounts of victory and happiness, and will even influence others to do the same thing!!!

Career Advice!!
Hello Again!!!
Jesus, it feels like forever since I wrote here, even though it was less than a week ago haha. I am writing this very cold, very very cold. It is definitely an adjustment from NC to DC, but I Will Survive! haha
Anyway, I am wanting to write to you guys to say hello and tell you about the card I drew for all of you :)
We have the "Career Angel" from the "Angel Reading Cards"! I don't know about you, but my Career is weighing heavy on my heart. I am currently in a job where I am trying to be passionate and happy, but my heart isn't in it. No matter how hard I try, I can't be enthusiastic about it. I know I have to have a job (my lights don't run off magic haha). But I want to be fulfilled. This card is saying that fulfillment is coming!! Positive Changes are occurring even if we can't see them. But we have to help them along!
I say this all the time: Change is neutral, but the way we react to change determines if it is positive or negative.
Translating this to your (our) career(s). We have to hold the highest, most positive, vision in our minds that we can! That is so tremendously helpful and is really the 'make or break' between staying where you are and going to where you want to be!
This Angel is currently working with you to heal any emotional issues that are affecting you. And don't be surprised if you meet people who are going to help you with networking or any other kind of searching. Don't despair. It's coming sooner than you think:

Hi!
The "King of Earth" pops up for us today! I love the energy of the Kings. Ths particular King comes with sign of abundance and prosperity. For me, the new iPhone launches tomorrow so it's quite relevant to me. This card is about success. You are entering into a time where success is yours if you take those steps into opportunities offered to you. Don't look at the 'what could go wrong', and look what is already going right! Literally everything you do right now will be successful. This being said, we are Mercury Retrograde so don't start really new ventures, businesses, or make big purchases. Instead, until this MR is over on the 9th of October, focus on cultivating yourself to be ready to take those leaps. Opportunities can still be offered to you, just tell them you need a few days to think it over. I actually did that once and realized, after taking a step back, that it wasn't an option I needed to pursue. Either way, success is yours!!!!

Hello!!
Today we have "Justice" from the Angel Tarot. Sometimes we drag our feet in making choices that we need to make because they aren't easy. This card comes as a swift kick in the ass to make the decision. Do what you know to do because you are only prolonging pain if you don't. You know in your heart and in your mind that this is choice that needs to be made. "Rip off the band-aid" is what I'm getting with this card. This choice will restore balance to your life and help you walk your path with more confidence and joy.

How many of you know how truly powerful you are? Probably not a lot. I know I don't haha. We have ideas, and we hear people talk about it, but how often do we actually walk in it? What if I told you that your thoughts, even the fleeting ones, can change the course of your day, year, or even your life? Well guess whaaaattttt, they can! I am really being spoke to today about my thoughts and how they need to change. How can you change your thoughts? By realizing how powerful you are! Once you fully realize it, you are limitless in what you can manifest!! You have the power of the Universe running through you, at this very moment, the stardust that makes up galaxies is inside of you. The power that created the Universe is the power you have!!! The time has come, dear one, to make a decision. They are showing me a clock, telling me to tell you that time is of the essence. You see, the longer that we stay 'captive' (this is in quotes because we are never really captive to anything unless we give it power) to these lower energies, the worse things will get for us. So make a decision to walk away from whatever it is keeping you down. You have all of the power here!
